2 Samuel 21:19 "In another battle with the Philistines at Gob, Elhanan son of Jaare-Oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver's rod."
John 6:47 "Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life."
John 6:47 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life."
John 1:1 "In (the) beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god."
John 6:47 "Most truly I say to you, whoever believes has everlasting life."
John 6:47...It seems as though one could believe virtually "anything" and get eternal life from the above versions. One could believe in Satanism, Occultism, Terrorism, and any other "ism" and have eternal life according to these versions. These verses above only illustrate what happens when the wrong underlying Greek texts are being used to supposedly translate the words of God. Is this the kind of paraphrase and mistranslation that is leading our kids to destruction because of the use of abhorrent texts such as these in our churchs?
2 Timothy 3:16 King James Version "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
Is it not past time to start seeking as to exactly where "SCRIPTURE" resides, given the above definition from 2 Timothy 3:16, as the 5 examples above have nothing whatsoever to do with "SCRIPTURE?"
